Lipedema can be an extremely difficult journey. That makes it even more important to take care of ourselves. By practicing self love and setting reasonable, sustainable resolutions and goals for 2024, we are much more likely to improve our mental, emotional, and physical wellbeing.

There are stages of lipedema, and there are lipedema types. Lipedema types are classified based on common presentation. Note that just because you don’t specifically fall into one category or another, types may be combined, and or your particular type may not be listed.

While there is no cure for lipedema, there are various treatments that can help manage the condition and improve quality of life. One of the most commonly recommended treatments for lipedema is the use of compression garments.
